that is a huge blessing. For him, his family, and any inheritance he wanted to leave. A year in a nursing home can deplete an entire like savings that was intended to be passed on to heirs.

My grandfather was an avid fisherman. He retired early from a successful business to fish. He caught speckled trout hand over fist, sold them commercially.
He went out fishing one morning and never came back. They found him in his boat off of East Timbalier Island. He had a cooler full of fish.
He was only 63. That’s way too young. But if I could sign up to go out like that, I’d take it.

then why you got a library card from each parish?

I'm slowly letting some of them go but I'm holding on to EBR, LP & ASC so I have unlimited access to Kanopy & Hoopla.
But let's not discuss Kanopy & Hoopla on a public forum.
If everyone finds out about them were going to lose the greatest free and comercial free movie and TV streaming services ever Lol

I say sleep.

But I had a family friend that died of a heart attack on his boat after catching his biggest bull redfish. His SIL said he died happy

Then Kanopy is your best friend. So many international docs that you aren't able to stream anywhere else without paying an arm & leg.

This sounds sad actually because he died before his mom, and she had to bury her son.

Yep.
I'm a movie nut with a DVD / Blu-Ray collection of almost 6,000 discs.
Every year I come across around 40-50 movies who's owners will flat out not let their movie stream ANYWHERE free including Netlix and all the other premium paid streaming services BUT they will allow them to stream free on Kanopy & Hoopla because of their affiliation with the public library system which equates to a "Big Tax Deduction"
These movies also had very limited prodcution to disc which means if you find the disc for sale on eBay it's 50 bucks or more.
So we love Kanopy & Hoopla
But keep them a secret. LOL

Legend has it that Clifton Chenier went out mid-nut in a hotel room in Opelousas. He had a permanent grin on his face.

My friend who was a reporter at the Opelousas Daily World told me the story.
