Wishful thinking on my part. I'll defer to you on this.

good question, I’d like to know what runway they were landing on and what the surface winds were, might have been fighting that and got off the centerline and just kind of lost SA?
They were landing on R23. Two closest wind reports were 28G35KT and 20G32KT both out of 270 degrees
Broken cigs around 3000 ft. Blowing snow reported. 6 sm vsby

That's because they needed to change their underwear after that assault on the runway.

I’ve seen too many movies, I would’ve been hauling arse thinking the whole thing was about to blow.

A short flight on a small airplane? I’m not a pilot but I don’t believe those are The routes the top veteran pilots are flying.

Since major airline carrier crashes and incidents are at a all-time low since introducing these programs,
are you going to credit the DEI pilots for our safety or was that was actually the generation that crashing airplanes every month in the 80s and 90s?

True. But none of those poor bastsrds who walked away from that had clean drawers, that's for damn sure...

Probably not many here have tried to land a plane with that smokey looking snow blowing but if you have driven in it you know it can affect your awareness/depth perception so that very well could have played a roll in this.
They also were dealing with a crosswind of about 15 knots from the right so they correctly dip that right wing some, but unfortunately it looks like they dipped the right side too much and it caught the ground causing the plane to flip.
Also from that video from aircraft holding short for takeoff the CRJ touched down way too short on the runway they should have been landing about 800’-1000’ farther down

I’m sure dei was the cause. You’ve convinced me.

I thought the visibility was excellent

that’s really not much

those guys should be violated

no, they were in the touchdown zone

Oh you’re one of them……

I’ll save the faa a few hundred million.
They was comin’ in hot. Maybe snow caused lack of depth perception…either that or a massively under qualified DEI hire.

I’m thinking maybe a bad bypass line or worn out ball bearings. Small things can be catastrophic.

I'll take DEI Hire for $600

Does the Coulter Rule apply to aircraft incidents?

They gonna get in trouble
But its also the best video for NTSB or canadian NTSB to see what happened
How does every major airport not have an HD camera on every runway? Cameras are cheap

Nobody knows what caused this yet, but to say DEI cannot conceivably have a negative effect on safety is counterintuitive. By its very nature, you are making hiring decisions based on genitals and skin color instead of pure merit. History will not be kind to the DEI era.
