It still baffles me how many passengers were carrying their luggage off the plane and casually walking away.

I would have been sprinting away.

I saw the fuselage roll after the wings broke off. There was no flip. Had there been, the fuselage would have broken.

That’s 100% on the pilot. Have they been identified yet?

ILS approach with Altimeter set incorrectly I bet. He happily flew into the ground on a precision approach

No flaps high speed landing. Most likely slowed too much and lost lift.

This is why I’d like to know who the pilot is and what level of training/experience they have.

Clear conditions. Flew it right into the ground.

You generally come in faster with less flaps than normal in High wind conditions.

I like the altimeter setting theory another poster posited. I also wonder with there were some visual illusions going on making the pilot think he was higher than they were

good question, I’d like to know what runway they were landing on and what the surface winds were, might have been fighting that and got off the centerline and just kind of lost SA?

There’s a good chance they got wind shear right at the moment they went to flare. Sink rate was too high, even deciding on go around at that point might have been too late.

always

almost looks like either the right main gear collapsed or he dragged a wheel off the runway, which is not a good thing

Someone posted a vid with all that info in the main thread. Last page or two.

This is it.

Looked more like a carrier landing than runway with the force it hit.
