I was at a post deployment yellow ribbon event and they had several college reps there giving out information about their school. It got me thinking about finishing my degree because I already have around 100 or so credit hours. I was majoring in Business Management before I left school. I did talk to a rep from Grand Canyon University and he said that for military, it is only $215 a credit hour and they are very flexable with the military. Anybody have any recommendations on any other schools that offer degrees online?

Find out which programs employers hold in the highest regard and go that route.

I'd pick something that isnt online only. Arizona St gives you exact same diploma as on campus and they have basically all their classes online.

I got my masters degree through them. Don't listen to these idiots that think you must go to a brick and mortar school or "no one will respect your degree." I cant remember ever being chosen for a job, because I went to LSU for undergrad.

Get the degree and any industry certifications and get working.

I do not know anything about them, but I know Arizona State University has a great online program and it is a great school. They will work with your GI Bill also. Don't waste your money on/beware of these shitty "for-profit" schools that are just trying to take your GI bill without giving you a viable degree.

That is pretty much what I'm looking for. A actual university or college that also offers degrees online.

Where did you get all those other credit hours? Why not finish there?

I got them prior to joining the military and having a family. Just don't have the time or resources to go to an actual college.

It's more common now than ever. No one here will be able to answer the question for you really.

Reach out to several schools and verify how your credits will transfer before you decide, particularly if they're from different states. I've seen plenty of students who end up with half the credits they expect not counting or not applying to their degree plan.

Most colleges have online classes. I'm saying you could check to see if your old school does and finish your degree from there.

Last time I checked, they offered only lower level courses and maybe a couple upper level courses.
