I finished up my MS in Business from Northwestern State in 2017 and am working on MBA from LSUS now. Recommend either. Also, the company I work for, which is high on the Fortune 100 list, just hired a University of Phoenix grad as a mid-level VP - so much for those degrees don't count.

How does paying for it work on active duty? Credit hour limits? Tuition cap? Might make a difference on where you should go. I'm currently working on a bachelors in leadership with a business minor at a private school in NC but I know post 9/11 GI Bill stuff is different than being active. Might want to look into attending a local school even if you do an online thing.

Bs in management. Overall the coursework wasnt that hard. I was going for the quickest bs possible

Eastern Kentucky University has several online programs (that rank well for online programs) and also gives a discount for military personnel. They’re also pretty affordable.
A lot of our state troopers roll through there for their degrees. And I had some classes with military personnel in my criminal justice courses.

ASU does a great job with vets. It's an emphasis of the online programs.

I'm a vet and using my educational benefits right now. I go on campus full time student. I started at 29, got my associates from a community college and now at EIU. EIU took my military transcript and gave me tons of credit. I did all the core classes for my associates, but suck at math, so graduated with communications (I had credit for that degree with my recruiter experience). All of my courses were business & economics.
When I graduated and went on to EIU I was signed up for corporate communications, but as a non-traditional, my bachelor's would've took more time. Talked with the school of business, I needed way more math. Luckily, I stumbled upon general studies department. I did not have to do foreign language requirements and only needed 26 credits. I did 14 hrs last semester and doing 12. My classes have been more economics, management courses and leadership/critical thinking.
I know it's nothing fancy, but three years as a non-traditional and earning two degrees are more than I ever thought I'd achieve. They will get me into interviews and my military experience & resume will make me very competitive. I still have education credits as well that I could do a master's / minor if I wanted.
