University Tire in Hammond.
Once you go there and deal with Jeff you will never trust anyone else to touch your tires again. He owns the business and does all the work himself.

There's a small shop close to Subway by intersection of highway 59 and Florida in Mandeville. Ran by a bunch of Mexicans and only one speaks English. They have always done right by me.

Tire World Car Care Center in Mandeville is locally owned and operated. They've been in business for almost 30 years. They sell both Nitto and TOYO. Ask for Landon, he's the owner - they do great work.
I would consider the TOYO Open Country A/T, or R/T as an option to the Nitto. All three vehicles we own have TOYO tires, they manufacture a damn good tire depending on your application.
Chicken, we need an AUTO Board!

Dayummmmm I know I paid $1600 3 years ago for 35” ridge grapplers. Geez I’m not ready for that price!!

I've got Toyo Open Country A/Ts on mine. $1100 installed last year. I'd look into those before dropping more than double on Nitto

Just got a price, the Toyo A/Ts are the same price as the Ridge Grapplers. Tire guy said I'm gonna pay out the arse for a quality tire the size I need

Autoville is the best customer service and pricing that I have ever experienced from a mechanic

The downside of 22" rims I guess...

Two things that aren't being talked about.
1) you need to go to a place that's convenient to go back to for rotations.
2) Nobody and i mean nobody will get you in and out faster than meraux of getting work/rotations done. Very seldom are they backed up enough that you won't be in and out doing nearly anything within an hour or so. Some other places are good to but you'll be sitting there 2.5 hrs to all day for a rotation etc.

Discount Tire. It’s not the same suggests they actually have full staff and short waits.

Check the dealership where you purchased the vehicle. Believe it or not, sometimes they have the best prices around. Last three sets I purchased were at the dealership.
Cheaper than Sam's, a lot easier as well.

The advice to use Mereaux’s is solid. They are very quick, incredibly honest and do great work. I highly recommend them for alignments as well.

No kidding...I bought this truck used and never really even thought about the 22" rims causing the tires to be THAT much more. I'm now thinking I may need to buy smaller rims and sell the ones I've got.
I always tell my kids about an "idiot tax" they pay when dealing with repercussions after having done something foolish. I feel as though I'm paying that tax now.

If you have not made a decision yet, try Williams Tires in Slidell by the Fremaux Center. Bought my last two sets of nitto ridge grapplers 33s from them. Free rotation and they also do diesel oil changes. Get mine rotated every time they change my oil.
