That’s the same conclusion that I came to. Looked around for a long time and a used truck with about 70k miles was marginally less factoring in possible future repairs, new tires, and never knowing how the truck was previously used. He is a good kid, straight A student. I always told him that if he did the right things growing up I would reward him. He hasn’t disappointed me one bit!

No Bose system. It’s a base model pickup. I looked at the GM subwoofer and install seems pretty straightforward.
I was late 90’s teenager and some of my best memories were installing subs in our trucks! Riding with the seat all the way forward to have a little extra room for some huge speaker box. So dumb but it was awesome looking back!

Any recommendations for upgrading car audio system on the northshore or New Orleans/Baton Rouge? Bought my son a new GMC Sierra few months back and he asked me to get him a subwoofer for his upcoming birthday. I drove it today and the sound system really is “underwhelming.” He is in high school and I did the same thing back in my day. Did it myself then but playing with a $5k truck then is different than the new ones with all the computers etc. any help is appreciated

Veron’s supermarket in Lutcher. Buy 4 five lb bags of sausage and get $10 off. Works out to $5 a lb. Best sausage I’ve ever used at a great price. 20 lbs of sausage for $100. Freeze and always have on hand when needed. Pick up some fresh sausage while there and make a mean pot of smothered fresh sausage and gravy. Fixing a pot on my next day off!

Fields Italian just opened in Pass Christian at the Pass Bungalows.

Mine was when they were pressuring everyone about the vaccine. Reluctantly, I half way decided that I would get the shot after my 70’ish parents convinced me I would die without it! I called to make an appointment and one of the first questions they asked was for my social security number!

Jalapeño and cheese fresh sausage is unbelievable. Haven’t had their andouille in a while but I’m sure it’s great. Stopped at Wayne Jacob’s about a week ago and they are charging $13.50 lb for andouille now!
