I also have the APR tune. They are headquartered in Opelika, AL and will do the mods there if you take it to them. Pushes almost 700 hp.

Thats not accurate.
Teslas can charge on a variety of outlets, 110 included.
They also recommend that you have it installed by an electrician BEFORE delivery but they will help you find an electrician if needed.
The free super charge stations also only charge half the battery in about 30 min. So on a 270 range batter you're getting another 135 miles or so.
FTR I love Teslas and will probably own one in the next 5 years.

Audi is known as the non-flashy luxury model brand according to much of the media I watch on vehicles. I don't know that I technically agree with that as I find them beautiful, but

GM does a great job designing theses cars and a piss-poor job selling them.
You can't find the damn things (v-Series) unless you go to Dallas or Houston.
The fact that they sell Cadillacs where you can buy a Malibu kills the brand. If you find one locally at all, it will be black and they won't let test drive it b/c it's the only one they ever saw.

1) Mercedes c63 amg. Start at 63k. Big enough for 4 adults (I rode in the back seat of a c class shockingly comfortably at 6'2). More luxurious than any competitor (m3, atsv). Turbo 4l v8 is one of the best engines in the world.
2) merc c450 amg - c63 lite, still turbocharged with 360 hp. Starting around 50k
3) Audi s4 - end of this models production cycle but if you want really understated but beautif, this is it. Love it in dark grey. Tech doesn't match Mercedes. Interior is really handsome and refined in the Audi way, but not as luxurious as merc IMO
4) Audi s6- if you need something larger, this is it. Getting close to the top of your budget at $70k base though. 450 horses. Competes with merc e550 and bmw 550 and beats them in looks, interior, and probably performance at a significantly lower price

that's a solid list. the new MB c450 will be a direct competitor to the audi s4.
I guess the term "flashy" is subjective, as lots of people are recommending benz AMG models and bmw M models, which to me is flashy.
I do agree that audi's S and RS line are more understated than the other german brands. If you are looking for a nice performing 4 door car for under 60k than an audi S4 is perfect.

Wait, so the quick charge station doesn't allow the same range? So, I will have to stop twice on the way back if I don't get the full charge?

No doubt. Numbers alone don't make it a great car. Feel the leather in a Hellcat and the leather in a 550. You can tell the quality. Same goes for every single instrument and surface.
Cheap and fast, the Hellcat wins every time. It just ends up being a Dodge at the end of the day. And you know I have no problem with Chrysler vehicles, just can't see spending that amount of money because on paper it is impressive.

Exactly this. Besides the R8 no one has ever called an Audi flashy. Even the TT is a bland by roadster standards.

Speaking of Tahoes...Unless you have four kids and have to take them to soccer practice, why buy one? I laugh at families I know with one kid driving around in a 70k Tahoe.
