The Hellcat exists because Fiat / Chrysler didn't have the funds to do a proper refresh on the Challenger and nedee to make a splash.
I saw an original Challenger on the road the other day. The new car is a bloated tank compared to the original.

I went to mopar weekend near Columbus ohio this weekend and I saw hellcats all over the place. And the town that hosted the event let people rip on their cars/do burn outs on a public street all nights last night. The challenger hellcat is definitely sweet.
Had a guy pass me in a new Audi s5 on my way home from Columbus today with a Lsu sticker on the back window......I love those cars.
