Chicago from April to October is incredible. ETA, of those, I would go Pittsburgh.
This. For a young and single man that likes to have a good time, you can't beat it. Gorgeous women everywhere. Bars on every corner. Great opportunities to play club sports and drink a lot (at the same time). We played kickball, flag football, had a bunch of friends play soccer. Good boating and fishing opportunities. Really good food from around the world.
Yeah it snows. Buy a coat and boots and don't be a wimp. Best part is there are plenty of people out at the bars in knee deep snow, and you know they are looking to have a good time.

Coeur D’Alene is one of my favorite cities. Not far from Spokane
These cities have amazing scenery and would be great after marriage before kids etc... Wish I could spend more time there. Would not want to be 28 and single there.

Nashville is draped in work and women, if you dont want to live in downtown it extremely affordable
Lived in Nashville from 2006-2009. It was awesome and would recommend it to anyone. Especially a single dude making good $ right out of college.

Oddly enough I'd say Atlanta, but live in Woodstock. Really good nightlife scene.

Nashville is the only choice.
It was great late 99s thru 2010 or so.
Then all the carpetbaggers caught wind and ruined it.

Savannah would be my number one.
It’s New Orleans, just cleaner. One of the top bachelorette party destination spots. Within 2 hours of all kinds of other fun activities.
Charleston probably number 2. College of Charleston has a very favorable female:male ratio, and the talent is primo.

Boston is a really fun city

Charleston, SC. Still would.

Are these the only choices? If so, I'd pick Boise, Raleigh, or Atlanta.

Iowa if you forget about crime.

Smartest city in the country. Or so I’ve heard
And the ugliest women.
Buddy of mine played FB up there and was always going to East Lansing (MSU) on weekends to meet desirable coeds.

If you had a re-do of your late 20s single, unmarried, and making 70K+
What city in America would you pick and why? Our oldest son got a job offering in Raleigh, NC as a data analyst and also an IT position in Salem, OR.
He's considered:
Atlanta, GA
Raleigh, NC
Ann Arbor, Mi
Columbus, Oh
Pittsburgh, PA
Boise, ID
Salem, OR
Omaha, NE
Des Moines, IA
Raleigh, NC
I actually moved from Raleigh to Boise, but I'm also married.

but would live in Woodstock or even as far up as Canton
If your single and out of school?
If you REALLY wanna go north Roswell or Johns Creek are both good choices and it would also depend where the office is located.
If it's ITP Midtown,Virginia Highlands or N Decatur would be
solid choices.

WR is a lot of things but I've never heard the word "hidden gem" to describe it.

Really depends on the person.
I honestly liked Salem, Oregon more than I thought I would. I just can't imagine very much job opportunities there for most people outside of academia.
I lived in Pittsburgh and I agree that it's probably among the best on that list, but it's not my preference. Neither would be Atlanta or Columbus although I'd rank Atlanta higher than Omaha or Des Moines.
Don't know much about Raleigh or Boise, but I've heard great things.

Can confirm this. I know a lot of LSU grads end up in Houston or Atlanta, but Chicago should be on yall's radar if you can handle the cold weather.
Loved my time living in west loop.

Out of the cities listed in OP, Columbus and Pittsburgh would be absolutely awesome.

Even though it’s not on your list Nashville, Tn would be my choice. Best city I have ever lived in. Definitely one of the best places in the US. Good night scene, sports, foods, clean city, country music, housing market.. etc.
