Maybe not the most prudent choice for a young man, unless he is just a balls to the wall outdoorsman.

I want to move there and will sadly have the opportunity fairly soon (dad's health) but I don’t know if my wife will be down with living in such a cold climate.

Not that you get much opportunity down your way, but make sure she knows how cute she looks in winter clothes.

It's actually the opposite though. Way more fatties in the South.

Warner Robins? Really? Well, if you like military towns, high school football, and subdivisions full of non-discript ranch-style houses, then I guess so. I was born and raised not far from there, so I know the place well.

I'm getting old and want less culture. Sadly, my father isn't doing well and I'll probably own a home in Montana soon. I want to move there. I can work from anywhere these days.

Coeur D’Alene is one of my favorite cities. Not far from Spokane, so a weekend getaway is very much doable. I enjoy staying at the resort. If I could convince my wife to leave Seattle, I’d move there in a heartbeat.

I’m sorry to hear about your Dad. That’s tough, spend as much time as you can with him.

Austin, TX was great for me.

I don’t know how professional I was, but I was young and had enough money to have a great time.

6th Street. You can’t beat it.

Ann Arbor? its awesome but it would definitely be like living in BR or Oxford as a "young professional". Royal Oak, Michigan might be the better bet. But lets be real, tOT answer is def not Atlanta, probably Dallas, Austin, Houston, or somewhere in the Carolinas.
