Best area/neighborhoods/zip codes in BR

What are some of the pros and cons of some of the neighborhoods in BR? I currently live in between Siegen and Highland off Perkins, but looking to make a move to have a bigger yard. With 2 kids, our current house just won’t cut it anymore. We are looking in Oak Hills, Pollard, Jefferson/Bluebonnet Area, Webb Park Area, etc...For the record, I would move to White Oak because I like the houses and yards, but wife doesn’t want to be that far from everything. Anyway, just want some input into what people like/dislike about where they live.

I live in Old Goodwood and love the neighborhood. Its next to Tara and in Mercy school zone. Central to just about everything and easy access to downtown, interstate and airline

Webb Park area will be the most expensive along with Pollard Estates. It just depends on what your priorities are with the amenities. You can get some good prices in the Kenilworth area as well but many homes will be older and need updates. Most these houses are a pretty big size, though so you have room to work with. Midcity, garden district, southdowns, and kenilworth to me are areas I like due to where I go in the city and it's easy to avoid highly trafficked areas.

The best balance of property value and traffic is in the box north of I-12, south of Florida, west of Sharp and east of Park.
You can get a moderately priced house with a large yard in Broadmoor.

Our first house was on Magnolia Wood. I loved that neighborhood. Kids would ride their bikes to the pool in the summer, we had great shade from a canopy of trees, break ins were rare, yards were huge. I regret moving.

Highland at I-10 runs parallel to Siegen. Guess saying I live off of Pecue and Perkins is accurate as well, but some people aren’t familiar with Pecue.

You can't just go by zip codes. Every code has good and bad neighborhoods in it. For example: some of the nicest areas in the city (Old Goodwood, Capital Heights, Garden District) and some of the worst neighborhoods (Mall City) are both in 70806.
