You are such a swell guy. You probably would have offered to give a BJ to a few of the guys in the boat that got hit as well.

Well duh. Chivalry's not dead.

95% of us would do the same thing after making sure no one is seriously injured.

Most of us aren’t Louisiana State Police, I get trying to help someone out, but if you put yourself out for the world to see and something like this happens then you probably know how this should play out.

I follow Kracker on Tik Tok. I like his videos and this incident doesn't change anything. I'd have done what he did every time.

I like the cat too, but I’m not getting paid by tax payers to be State Police. If you don’t mind putting yourself out there for the world to see, while making money off of it, then you shouldn’t mind answering for what you did. Maybe I missed it, but he should have been on top of this from the very beginning, of whatever happened.

Moran? You know his last name? Or are you attempting (unsuccessfully) to call him a moron?

And you'd be in the mug shot next to him, see the difference?

I love you, dood.

Apparently you don't boat or have friends, 99% of people on the water are drunk, the rest are under 5 years old.

Wow, not prone to hyperbole or exaggeration are you?
What an inane comment!

Getting hit by a drunk boater is just a risk you take while being on the water in the south. Me, I give erryone a wide berth and operate the boat defensively and stay off the water on holiday weekends, unless it is early in the day.

What's funny is people think this is some outlandish statement. It's way more true that not. I don't think 95% are drunk by any means, but 95% are drinking. Unless they have a teenager drive by them.

That’s definitely at the top of the craziest crap I’ve ever come across on TD, operating boats while drunk is no different than driving a car. Hell, a car might be safer, at least driving a car you don’t have to be worried about a drunk knocking you into the water to drown.

It's worse. Problem is that most people don't know proper rules when navigating so they are dangerous from the get go then you add alcohol... Recipe for disaster

My wife regularly reminds me I am all my friends' dead hooker in the trunk phone call. The important thing about being a DHIT friend is knowing when the proper way forward is a shovel and lime or confession and time. Escape and evasion on the water is hard enough coupled with the time at the boat launch and the time to hide the boat which reduces the chances of success significantly.

Risky.

A secret is when two people know something, and one of them is dead.

Baw, this is a hit and run on a waterway... with no real injuries. No dead hookers.

Mind if I grab your #? For reference only...

I don’t. There very well may have been one. I kind of hope there was one. It is what I expect LEOs to do, even to their own. Assuming he did something wrong, which he seems to have done, do you believe it’s too much to ask that the jackass be dealt with accordingly.

We’re talking about Louisiana State Police, even if he blew blow the legal limit, getting his friend out was still a crime. This is Louisiana at its finest.

That is the part of the cost-benefit analysis calculus that went sideways here. When there is a dead body involved you start with RUN and work back, when it is "just" a DWI with no dead people or limbs missing the first instinct needs to be take your medicine even if you are a shady fricker.

The dood arrested was LSP. So a hit and run, DWI on the waterway where this dood knowingly ran and tried to evade isn’t the least bit disconcerting to you?

How much shady shite and malfeasance do you think he got away with during the span of his career when on duty?
