Open and I always have done this except when the wife and I were going to get busy. Once kids were in their beds, the door closed. It was opened and remained open afterwards. It was open mainly so the kids could come in if necessary. For morning fun, it was closed……then opened.

The door may not be wide open but is open nevertheless.

When I was married, we always had the door closed. I didn't want my kids to be aware of the lack of sex that I was getting.

I want to hear who's about to be shot.

This too. I want to be able to hear someone trying to get into the house before the alarm starts blaring so I can be a bit more prepared, just in case.

Closed, turn the A/C off at night and turn on a window unit. My bedroom is much colder and my electric bills are a lot lower.
