Excuse my ignorance but did Montrell Jackson have more significance as a person that a lot of people knew him on here outside of being one of the slain cops? He was brought up a lot and multiple cops are dead, I was just wondering? RIP
On another note, the police often times try to calm the scene down so that the criminals don't feel like the heat is still on them and go somewhere and rest. It is easier for the cops to find someone who does not feel like the cops are looking for them, than someone on the run. So it very well could be a police tactic to get any other perps to settle down.

Moreover "let's not use this to advance an agenda" is rich from a guy who uses shootings on the reg to advance an anti-gun agenda.
It's fine, for Obama. That's a very low bar.
Exactly.
This is the guy who said it was easier for a kid to get a Glock than a book at a memorial service.

Rah rah speech hoping that someone else comes up with specific actions

I noticed he used very specific and narrow wording. He said something to the effect of "we believe the officers were shot by this individual". In other words, he didn't rule out others being involved and possibly shooting -- only that this is the guy that killed the officers.
That's EXACTLY what he was doing

Meetings won't change the hate in a persons heart nor will it change their mindset. Dumb Obama.

You tell me?????? I really don't think he was that bothered by the whole thing except it interrupted his day. frick him. I assure you he won't come to Baton Rouge .

ideally, what do you want him to say right there?
"Peaceful protests where people advocate for "no peace" aren't peaceful at all. Nor are protests that call for violence against police."

The fact that he is black. So apparently black lives don't all matter.

Take a look at the news site facebook page he said he worked for. It's some kind of racist BS site. Not surprising...

Montrel Jackson is the only name to be confirmed through the media. That's why he's the only one anyone is talking about right now

He's a black guy who was doing things the right way. White oppression somehow didn't keep him from being an honorable member of society and starting a family. He was gunned down by someone from his own community who was a subhuman piece of shite. That's why it'll get talked about, and I don't have a problem with that.
