Wife and I are bailing on the company Christmas party tonight (no pics, OT 4)...I’m going to get asked if I’m going...what’s an excuse I can go with that plays well?

I can’t make it tonight, my wife wants perch to nut in her and I have to sit in the corner and watch.

Do you have young kids? That's always a convenient excuse.

I spend enough time around you stiffs during the week. You’re nuts if you think I’m going to spend my free time around y’all.

No pay = no play. You don’t do work stuff off the clock.

Be an adult; tell them you don’t want to go.

If he's potentially up for a promotion this is all sorts of a bad idea.
