Wait a minute. Surely there is no way in hell that a country comprised of one group of people surrounded by a massive number of people who would like nothing better than to see the smaller group dead is not armed to the teeth?????? That can't possibly be. I am convinced if I do not have a gun on hand at all times in upper middle income neighborhoods in the US that I am going to die any second and Israelis live with an actutal existential threat at their door every day and manage to make it through day without being strapped. That simply can not be true....that has to be some anti-gun propaganda...

I agree. Setting up a perimeter and creating overlapping firing lanes isn't rocket science. A dozen defenders could easily take down 25 attackers.
This is why it's important to maintain vigilance. Technology is great and all, but having situational awareness and good training is the deciding factor more often than not.

Absolutely. "History, is written by the winners" and all that jazz.
That being said, we are seeing a re-write of history through the prism of social justice and the propaganda is just as intense in the opposite direction.
I think the results have to speak for themselves.
Edit: As an aside. I served in the military over 30 years ago, and I can still remember there's always - "That guy" that you just knew could kill anyone else in the unit; despite everyone having training. Some people really are exceptional and I don't for a second doubt that there's some miraculous shite that happens to time. Call it luck. Call it divine intervention. Who knows? I just think it's the right person, in the right place, at the right time.
