I suspect the, "decapitated babies" is that their heads basically exploded from a 7.62 round. It's effectively the same thing. People have these images of Hamas cutting heads off. Honestly, I think they were in too much of a hurry for that.
There's no doubt in my mind that they executed a bunch of people. I think arguing over the semantics of how they did it, is largely irrelevant.

Anyone who has spend time with them and worked with them know those young people are well trained and fiercely loyal to their country. They have to be. Their mandatory military service is taken very serious as it has to be.

I worked with a lady from Israel who had a photo of her in her fatigues holding her machine gun. She would have killed a terrorist in a New York minute. It is the way many of them are. More so now.

Not by keeping firearms an arms reach away apparently. They had to be distributed according to the OP and the post I replied to. Apparently owning a weapon in Israel is highly regulated including registration, limit on number and use etc. I was merely surprised that a people living so closely with a demonstrable existential threat would do so without being armed at all times. Apparently they do so in Israel….by all accounts weapons are being distributed, they aren’t in the closet and under the bed

what makes them badass? instagram pictures of them in tactical gear making sexy faces at the camera? i'm sure there are a handful of legit badass 20 year old female IDF soldiers, but is Israel "full" of them? not a chance. women do not make bad arse soldiers on any kind of scale that matters.
