Baby girl grows micropenis from dad's testosterone cream

A baby girl has grown a ‘micropenis' from laying on her dad’s bare chest that was lathered in hormone gel to boost his sex drive. A Swedish doctor said the strange case should serve as a warning to parents taking strong medication.
The newborn was accidentally exposed to a high level of testosterone during skin-to-skin contact.

I'm not up to speed on the most modern parenting trends, but isn't skin to skin kind of a "mother - infant" thing?

So why was this guy, who felt he needed an increase to his sex drive, holding his baby girl naked, enough times and for long enough time frames that she grew a penis

I think that warning was already in place for a long time even back when this supposedly happened 8 years ago. I wonder if the father was an immigrant or refugee in Sweden and still learning the language. In 2019 that city’s foreign born population was estimated to at 28% and likely not much lower in 2017.
