That’s “average”.

Some may have been less.
Some may have been more.
Some/all may have been exactly $245k.

That’s how average works.

What’s there to be mad about? Smarter / driven people get paid more. The average baw couldn’t sniff these jobs.

Where’s the article saying average rice farmer in Thailand took home $3 a month or some shite

that actually sounds pretty low for Wall Street, I knew some young traders making $300-500k back in the late 80s, in the early aughts making $3-4 million

Those are rookie numbers. You need to pump those numbers way up.

Not at all.

Jealousy is not a good look.

Yeah, but that creates a tax problem you really don’t want.

Something to be said for this. My bonus for 2024 was $80k and the tax implications were insane.

The tax implications of your fake bonus were exactly the same had you been paid $80k throughout the year. I’d love for either of you idiots to explain this to me

Yup, I don't agree with Mingo often, but I am waiting to hear about the insane tax implications.

why would I be upset over this?

I have zero desire to live the kind of life style those kind of people live. Those guys work 16-18 hours every day, live in NYC for the most part and have little life outside of work.

if that is what one desires...frick yea its awesome. and sure its awesome when you are in your 20s with no family, but its not a life style conducive to having a wife and kids and I personally cherish that over any monetary amount.

but congrats to them. Usually when they do well...i do well too.
