Honestly reminds me of the verbiage from the left in regards to 'undocumented immigrants'. The argument of "we need brown people to do the jobs we are to good for" by the anti-racism brigade is such wild irony that I wish they were smart enough to understand it.

Yeah. Who gives a shite though? Throughout history advanced societies and cultures have imported labor. Nothing's changed, and nothing will change.

This country is awash with immigrants, legal or otherwise for two reasons. Corporate Republicans want the labor and social minded democrats and liberals want the votes.

If we did have a reduced low income workforce, it would force innovation to account for that loss in production, wages would go up for people actually willing to do that work, the cost of housing would go down, crime would go down, and local society would be better off and more self sufficient. It's sad that people who think like this and cant logically look ahead are in charge of our governments.

I was in western Australia and Darwin in 2014, most food service workers were young white Europeans.

Looking at AI results, the to 10 list of countries of origin for legal Australian "migrants" features barely any white people (and no Eastern European ones.)
