The two hottest U.S. job markets in 2019 were growing Southern state capitals with vibrant music scenes and an influx of technology jobs.

Austin, Texas, topped the list for the second consecutive year, according to a Wall Street Journal ranking of new data collected by Moody’s Analytics. Nashville, Tenn., jumped to the No. 2 spot from seventh. Both cities anchor metropolitan areas of around two million people.

I'd think San Jose would be higher

Although the bay is booming in general. Hope it stays this way for a while.

There is a buzz around town about corona virus hurting the market this quarter.

10 years ago it was already getting annoyingly crowded. I can’t even imagine what it’s like now.

Moved to Austin last year and the job market is on fire, you can make a really good living here. it's very expensive though, rent is bordering on out of control at this point and buying a home is asinine. so some good and some bad.

Used to go to the Preds games regularly, every time the Red Wings or the Blackhawks showed, the people who were Preds fans showed up in Chicago or Detroit sweaters. Lots of transplants.
