Believe it or not, I tell my 11 year old boy this. He knows when to be home. Around dark. But the little shite still has a bad habit of taking off and not telling anyone where he’s going.

Not my teenage girl though. She barely leaves her room.

Forgive me if this has been covered but all of my account info with Verizon is gone. I’ve got a message for sim failure (I have a physical SIM card) and I cannot log into my Verizon account.

Verizon and TMobile have been experiencing issues as well, and it's due to ATT customers tapping in to their networks (I don't know how this happens, but that's what Verizon stated in a article I read earlier).

I ain't reading through 11 pages, but has anyone stated the obvious that this is most likely a cyber attack by hackers? Is there a way I can thank them for forcing a life reset on all the drones who can't peel their faces from their phones on any given day?

Thanks! I only have wifi for a few minutes because I’m on the road traveling. I’m lost of what’s going on and I can’t make any phone calls to Verizon as to what happened to my account.

Not an expert but it seems like once there’s a problem, the system gets hammered with load balancing. Which brings down more servers. It’ll take a while to return to normal even when the servers are back up.

"Although AT&T provided no official reason for the outage, the issue appears to be related to how cellular services hand off calls from one network to the next, a process known as peering, according to an industry source who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

There’s no indication that Thursday’s outage was the result of a cyberattack or other malicious activity, the industry source said.

Verizon believes the nationwide outage involving AT&T customers “is close to being resolved,” according to Richard Young, a Verizon spokesman."
