Has anyone here ever come to that conclusion over time?

if you spend time every single day bitching about people that are poorer and/or less well off than you, you probably aren't the good guy you think you are.
I see people go to church and act holy/righteous and throw their money in the offering plate and then bitch about the person living in government housing off of food stamps on facebook the same day. It's one thing to mention it every now and then but it seems like they spend a large portion of their week being angry over these things.
Jesus took all of his belongings and gave them away. these people have a hissy fit that a portion of their earnings/belongings ($$$) may end up going to someone "lesser"
Me, I know i'm not a good guy. so if I bitch about these things, it is just me being a normal guy.

I was an a$$hole early on, but most was striking back at others for my physical and mental limitations. I flipped the script when I combined Popeye with Barney Rubble as my life gurus.
I yam what I yam - Popeye
Takes a smart man to know he is stupid - Barney Rubble
Now I have embraced my "Special Purpose" and life is good

SuperSaint should be able to offer his expert opinion on this subject.

My wife calls me an a**hole almost daily. I’m starting to believe her.

Usually when my wife tells me I'm being a clown, a dumbass or the bad guy.

Do any of us, at any point, look at ourselves and realize we may be the clown, the retard? Or the a-hole?
Has anyone here ever come to that conclusion over time? And what did you do about it?
Asking for my neighbors and those I meet on the highway.
The only thing I ask myself is which one am I today?

I’m def the a-hole. Never doubted it though. But I have a heart of gold if I’m your friend.

I came to terms with this some years ago.

Are you a female?

Can you call a woman an a-hole. I just call them a bitch, or that other word.
Posted on 9/29/23 at 12:18 pm to theunknownknight
Self proclaimed a-hole here. Sometimes I do regret my actions, but most of the time it’s simply standing up for my beliefs.

Would that disqualify me?

I can do kind things for people, and I strive to. But I seem genetically incapable of expressing kindness or empathy with words. It's a problem, TBH. Nobody has ever been able to make me feel better with words and I don't know how to make others feel better. I'm probably a little bit on the spectrum.
I know how you feel. This morning when I left the doctors office a man and his wife were broken down. Busted radiator hose. They had no tools and after a minute I realized they couldn’t speak English. The lady was crying because they were real short of money.
I ran to AutoZone bought a hose and coolant. Had them rolling in thirty minutes. They were happy. I was happy.
Now I guess I’ll just go back to being my a-hole self.
