As was previously stated, Trump was likely wearing body armor under his suit. Head shot was the only way to guarantee killing him.

This dude was a twenty-year-old adult. The guy in MI was a juvenile. That's the key difference.

Man I know there’s like 10 pages of ppl talking about headhsotting someone from 130 yards with iron sights etc. But the more that comes out and the more I think about it, I think this kid just blind-lucked into an ear graze. AP is reporting he “quickly” fired off first shot after aiming his rifle at policeman that found him. Like I don’t think he was equipped with the skill to completely shift his target to policeman, then back to trump within seconds and aim for or intend to hit trump in the head all things considered. Prolly just pointed the gun in trumps general direction and pulled a rooty tooty point and shooty
