Looks amazing on TV. Job well done with the mirage. The city is still a garbage shithole. Looks great on TV though and that's all that matters!

Why, then, does the NFL keep awarding its biggest game to N.O., tied for the most hosting in the history of the game?

Seering like an ahi tuna take: the stock shot of Downtown BR that espn always uses is sexier than anything from New Orleans.

Because the only thing the city has is a street filled with drunks and druggies where people walk up and down for hours to get drunk and spend money. Outside of that there is nothing. I don't think that I have ever looked on the back of a product that reads "Made in New Orleans" which is the reason the city has one of the highest crime rates in the country. Oh and the roads were actually better back in the day when people rode around on horses and carriages.
If you were to take out the corruption and fraud from the Democrat leaders... New Orleans could potentially be one of the best cities in America but the local leaders have destroyed all of that to line their pockets

Do you not drink Folger’s coffee? That’s made in New Orleans.
The Higgins Boat that helped liberate France from the Nazis was also made in New Orleans. If the City made nothing else, that would be enough to cement its legacy.

If all you think NOLA is is a single street full of drunks then you are dumber than you seem to be.....

It’s sad that you only go to Bourbon street and nowhere else in the city. There is a lot more there to see.
18 million visitors come to Nola every year for some reason.
