Does this mean YOU are the a-hole boss?

This too shall pass.
I learned some of what to NOT do from him when I became the boss but also he had some positive traits I didn’t see through the cussing that I still use.

My boss is a complete and total a-hole. I'm self employed

My bosses are awesome. Hate my job, love my bosses. My direct boss is one of the best men that I know.

I have a fantastic boss. Unfortunately, she's closer to retirement than I am and eventually her daughter will take over. And she's an absolute moron. So I'll probably go self-employed at that point.

In 20 years I've had an a-hole boss for 4 months. That's how long it took for me to gtfo.

In before Babytac tells us how he's the boss of a multi million dollar company.

I’ve actually never had an a-hole boss. I’ve had a couple old timer bosses that were notably checked out and very disengaged so it sorta sucked from a support or visibility standpoint. I left a company over one as I didn’t see a future under him. I’d still take that over someone overbearing and in my shite all day.
I’m a pretty strong servant leader myself.

Sometimes though, you have to make it pass.
And that is usually when your gut tells you so.

Am I checking in if I'm the a-hole boss? Or checking in if I have an a-hole boss? I'm sometimes the former, but that's because some employees necessitate being an a-hole.

I had been at this law firm for 13 years doing paralegal work and managing their deliveries. Great boss I had left, this biotch from another state’s branch comes in and acts like a bull in a China shop. She pushes me over the edge to go self employed as an insurance agent shortly after…I left after my two weeks notice of intent…told the crew why I left on my last day. The next day was HER last day! :)
