ROFL The Fed has established Government Reserves that have dollars on hand that each Branch Bank must communicate every day their money on hand to explicitly never let that happen again EVER.

Even if it were possible to accomplish this, what is the end game after they have crashed the system?
The system is responsible for all of the government funding most of these people are receiving, so if they crash the system they cut off their own gravy train.

In all seriousness it wouldn't take much to make a bank default.
IIRC banks only have like 10% liquid cash on hand to pay out from its accounts.
So in theory if 10% of people walked into a bank and withdrew all of its cash, the bank goes into default.
Further, what about FDIC? They will cover you, right?
Well of $41 billion in insures deposits, there's only $6 billion to cover it in the FDIC fund.
I doubt it happens, but it's possible.
