Stolen valor bro. Not cool! Well maybe if your TikTok game is solid…

I think that’s closer to the reason: Fear or avoidance of appearing as if misappropriating the medical profession. Which is ridiculous really. But the reason persists. It’s true.

Wearing scrub pants is acceptable if you're going to the gym and want a little layering while you get warm. Wearing them around town as if they're real clothes is weird IMO.

Work in medical sales, healthcare background, wear them for work. Would never wear them out casually, but I'd be lying if I said they haven't gotten me out of several speeding tickets

I have worn scrubs. They’re comfortable. They got a lot of pockets for travel and shite. Not opposed.

My wife wears them around the house because she says they’re comfortable. She had them from when she worked at a Vet clinic

Same here. Always thought how awkward it would be someone having a medical emergency looking at me to do something.

I don't think doctors wear Figs. You could always tell the difference between the doctors' scrubs and those of the nurses, etc.

I wear them under my regular clothes instead of underwear, does that count?

I used to wear scrubs every day when I still had hospital call and admitting privileges.

Once I switched to outpatient clinic only - I threw them all away.

However, I am hearing that the comfort level is much better in 2023. I may have to start wearing them again if I can find a comfortable set. I would love to wear tennis shoes at clinics again. I miss that.

If you don't think Modern Day nurses, medical assistants, estheticians and other frontline heroes won't take up an opposite banner to your "ThEy LoOk So CoMfOrTaBlE" plea to shame you for your stolen valor, then you're not paying attention.

I used to wear scrubs to buy beer when I was 16 or so. I also already could grow a decent beard already. I would hit up the gas stations owned by Indians and this would always work.

FIGS

these are the most overrated scrubs to date.

while they are vv fashionable, they suck in terms of attire that is helpful to do your actual job (if you're in healthcare at the bedside) imho.

not enough pockets and designed to show off your assets more than to be an asset that enables you to keep the items you need on your person to do your job efficiently.

Gen Z nurse requirements: Figs, Stanley cup, bogg bag.

My neighbor is in some kind of medical device sales. He wears scrubs to mow his yard.

I am medical. I will wear black scrubs to work about once a week.

There is a division amongst physicians re: scrubs belong exclusively in the OR vs it’s ok to wear scrubs outside the OR. There is a Wall of Shame for when someone is caught somewhere that scrubs don’t belong (baseball park, grocery store, etc)

I will wear mine from home to work and back. I’ll sometimes not have time to go change before doing something, but it’s really rare for me to show up at a bar/party/dinner in them, and I change out of them just about as soon as I get home most the time.

My wife wears Figs, she's a nurse. All the gay Drs and nurses wear Figs as well...

I wear Landau scrubs to work. The cheap ones...
