Are you more persuadable by logical, emotional or personal appeals?

The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle broke down the ways to persuade people into 3 types - logical (logos), emotional (pathos), and personal (ethos).

In making decisions about things, which of the three are you most likely to rely on?

It seems like a lot of people from all walks of life and all sides of different issues tend to rely on emotional considerations and outlooks. A lot also seem to rely on personal considerations - relying on another person or other people for their views.

Everyone will say logical.

This previous year shows that nearly everyone is actually emotional.

None of this stuff even exists anymore. It’s all transgressors and the transgressed now for everything.

Logical, Personal, Emotional... in that order usually.

I'm sure it varies, of course.

Logas. Keep emotion and personal feelings out of it. More times than not those will lead you to make the wrong choice.

I use logic for many decisions but can’t help but buck logic now and then based on emotional/personal reasons. For instance, it’s hard to break a habit once you rely on a person for guidance, etc., that worked out positively in a scenario that repeats itself.
