Next you're gonna be saving posts and waiting for posters to apply to college.

Anyone who is purely logical would never drink to excess, for example. So that rules out most of us.

Nah. Just a lot of stupid here. I don’t care that they’re stupid. They just are.

Most will say, and believe, "logic". Most lack self awareness.

Everyone saying just logic either hasn't read Aristotle or doesn't understand it.

Logical, then ethical. If I have an immediate emotional response I try not to act on it until all the facts are in or until I can think things over.

Logic is the way. Whenever a tough decision faces me, I put on my thinking fedora and get some Doritos to nosh on as I ponder the question at hand. It helps me purge my mind of all those fleeting, animalistic emotions.

Only then can I arrive at the dispassionate opinions worthy of a latter-day gentlesir: the juvenile nature of belief in any phony god, the irrelevance of all the trite "advice" my grandmother yells down through the basement door, the inferiority of gaming consoles and those who use them in a merely casual capacity... these beliefs are the hallmark of a logical man and brook no opposition.

I just wish I could find a female who thinks this way. So many of them are slaves to the steroid-addled and afrocentric culture one sees in our dying capitalist society.

ETA: In all seriousness, logic can be flawed. You can't fake or screw up an emotional response.

Financial decisions I use logic.

All others I’m an ethos man. Gotta get me and mine for my family since nobody else in the world is.
