Yeah, this illusion of freedom and privacy that people have is perplexing.
“They” already know most things and clearly already had the power to shut us down with impunity.

Joe Biden touched me inside my pants.

I’ll shake like a coconut on a tree if it means opening up the world.

1) Wearing a mask in places other than doctor's offices
Why would you wear one here but not elsewhere? Makes no logical sense.

Unless you go to NO there should be no one asking your name when you go anywhere
What restaurants do is up to them but JBE said he is not requiring giving your name to go somewhere
This will not matter to the majority of people that feel like they have a cold & never go to the Dr.
You will only be contacted if you have a positive test & the person calling isn’t supposed to have your personal info which doesn’t make sense for them to confirm they are talking to the right person

Outside of making reservations at places I would have made a reservation at before all this, no.
This; and I don't mind wearing a mask when going into high traffic stores either.

When I talk to the contract tracers I always pee on my hands then shake hands with them

What they actually have access to at the state level is nothing like what you’re thinking here. The NSA isn’t supporting this effort.
Dude
I get cheese ads on instagram when I'm in the cheese aisle of the fricking grocery store
I've seen demos from googles analytics folks at my office (they were selling us something) and it is crazy what these people know. And they sell it to EVERYONE.
Again, that is more intrusive for privacy than the state government knowing I went to eat Blue Oak BBQ on Tuesday. Why does anyone care?
I mean, it is funny to leave fake names and I don't care if others don't participate, I won't shame them. Personally, I just don't see the big deal and do see the benefit for me.

Nope. If I contract it, they will discover that apparently COVID-19 affects memory.

I guess you may be right, so I'll amend my answer to say I won't be wearing one at all.
ETA: LSUJML has the better answer below.

Because most Dr offices require them & a Dr. appt isn’t something you can say you aren’t supporting their business because of a mask rule

I'm not concerned with giving anyone my name or phone number, but if I get called and told someone at a place of business that I was at tested positive, I'm not quarantining for 14 days unless I feel symptomatic.

I'll go get tested again if I get that call.
I'd love to know if I have it or not so I can know in 14 days I've got those sexy antibodies

Technically, the information you give google and others is given freely in their privacy policies when you choose to use their products and services. Thats what I’m asking here. Will you freely give that info to a contact tracer?

no state can reopen safely without contact tracing to keep the virus from spreading again.”
This is a delusion of the statist left. It would require mass testing of asymptomatic people, which will never happen. People who feel fine are never going to go line up for Covid testing. The real question is what will you do when someone shows up at your door and says that you have to submit to a Covid test and give all your information? How do you think that will go?

Lol ga is doing that none sense.
I will not be using my real name

They have been tracking your cell phone movements for a long time. They know who you crossed paths with.
Then why are they doing contract tracing?
Whats the point if they are already tracking us?
