What about your local dive bar, strip club, message parlor or barber shop?
I go to none of those places. I'm bald so I don't even need a barber.

I have everything I need delivered.

I keep my cell phone turned off or left on the counter in the kitchen.

They will have to find me to ask questions and I'll give many false answers.

Why would you trust the government to set this precedent? In what world have governments ever reduced their observation/knowledge gathering capabilities.

The real question is what will you do when someone shows up at your door and says that you have to submit to a Covid test and give all your information? How do you think that will go?

A broken fricking nose if they're standing too close to the door when I slam it in their fricking faces.

Visit me. See my world. I highly doubt you would leave still thinking I'm dumb. You'll never see this nation the same.

Maybe if people wouldn't get so up in arms about this...certain local governments wouldn't threaten to make this mandatory.

Look...I was tested yesterday. All I could think about while waiting for my results (thank goodness it was negative) was the people I came in contact with. And knowing I may have exposed them to this. Some of those people I work with that have vulnerable family members at home.

I wasn't so much worried about my health (although a little nervous) as I was about giving this to someone that would have struggled with it.

What information will they gather that they don’t have already?

Muh, what happened in Europe, mostly Germany, in the '30s & '40s for 1 example.

Do we learn NOTHING from history?

If they already have it then what's all this about?

hey bro, I care what you do....

will you post your phone number, full name, email address, home address, play of employment, Facebook Page, and any other social media that you're signed up for? While you're at it, post the same info for your wife and kids....we need to know that as well

Nah, because I operate under the protection of (semi) anonymity here. That is why I act like an arse and share things I wouldn't normally share with strangers.

I don't do that at restaurants though and I pay with credit cards so they'd be able to know I was there anyway.

So...I was having symptoms and have been working to help set up COVID units (although I've had NO direct contact with COVID patients).

If I was positive...public health would still be calling me and asking where all I've been the past 48-72 hours and who was I near.

Many of you are saying you just wouldn't even answer the phone for public health. An agency that is just trying to help keep the public safe in the middle of this global pandemic. Like no fricks given that you could give some information that might actually help someone else out, nah that's too much for you to do and will be a violation of your privacy while you play on your phone and on facebook and ask Alexa what the weather is like.
