Because there is absolutely no threat to me or my family if the city of Nashville knows what businesses I went to in the past and I see the benefit of knowing if there were people at those places the same time as me with COVID19.

This is even dumber than the stay-at-home order. The virus can hang in the air for 2-3 hours. Contact tracing is for person to person contact spreading only. Might as well try to trace the contacts of someone with the flu or a cold. It’s impossible.

Last I checked people aren't being intubated at a restaurant.
Nor are they getting SVNS or on bipap. All situations where the virus can be aerosolized.
If it was truly "hanging in the air" for 2-3 hours from someone with it just casually hanging out somewhere...we would have even more infections than we do now.

) I already work closely with public health as part of my job. Absolutely would I be cooperative and let them know, as best as I could, where I was 48-72 hours prior to being symptomatic (where they think you can not have symptoms but still possibly be infectious).
