People are making way too much of a big deal out of this crap.
If you're running a quick errand, it's easy to forget to remove it when you get back to the car.

I don't either but GD Harris county is about to make it where I can't enter any store without one.

Yep. Careful who you say that around though. Apparently I'm an a-hole for thinking this isn't a bubonic plague level health issue.

I can't think of any drawbacks to wearing the mask while driving other than comfort.

It's less putting your hands on it as you leave and enter the car and da rona could be tracked into the car. Does air exiting or entering a moving vehicle have active corona virus in it?
Good lord.

They are trying. It won't be Harris county so much as the stores that are not going to allow entry based on the order from the county.

quote:

Harris County has issued an order requiring residents ages 10 and over to wear protective face coverings when in public for 30 days, starting Monday, April 27th. In light of this recent order, we want to share some helpful information on how you can follow guidance from local officials, read more about the order’s requirements and exceptions, and make your own homemade face covering. The order requires Harris County residents to wear a face covering when leaving home, especially in pharmacies, grocery stores, on public transit, and workplaces where it is difficult to maintain social distancing measures.

Oxfords' mayor just enacted a similar policy...
if you're caught inside not wearing a mask... the manager on duty can be fined $1,000

This. And I love the judgey looks. Well, I assume they are judgey, based on their squinty eyes.

I went out to the Best Buy today. Had to go to the one about twenty miles away to make an exchange. Saw a ton of people driving around in masks. Not me, my glasses fog up, don't feel like crashing.

They can't force individuals to wear masks in stores but they can force stores, through code enforcement and CO enforcement , to not allow individuals into the store without masks.

I figure that they could make you wear a mask as much as you are required to have shirt and shoes on in restaurants.

I'm sorry but that's just stupid and uncomfortable.

If you want to be as safe as possible, you either: disinfect all your shite before you get back in the car to go home or you wear the mask and gloves home and disinfect everything before you go inside.

Is it really the stupid option?
