How can they be comfortable with all that extra thick material. They must weigh like ten freaking pounds.

Cargo shorts are awful and you should be embarrassed if you wear them.

This. And they are usually have like 10-12" inseams. Just buy some capri's, b/c that's what you're wearing.

Just finally bought some shorts that aren't cargos because of the OTL. Hell I haven even worn them yet.

I have two kids. I still don't wear cargo shorts. The shorts I do wear with two side pockets and two back pockets are enough for me. Using being married/having kids as excuses to be sloppy is lazy AF.

Favorite game day shorts are gray and purple Nike cargo shorts. 100% polyester, draw string, amazingly comfortable. Wish I had bought five pair when I bought two pair a few years ago.
