Cargo shorts were never in style 
They can be used for function, but they look heinous and have not ever been considered stylish...unless you play world of Warcraft and LARP on weekends.

That is true. I will never truly be a Floridian though, because I cannot bring myself to buy crocs (or wear them with socks). Oh, and I will never under any circumstance wear a flat bill cap. F that!
