I used to always get laid when I drank tequila. Now I just get a headache. Which is good, because of the whole #metoo thing.

Depends what I mix it with. Natty Light by itself doesn't do much, but if I'm smoking meth too it has a different effect.

The reason why jager taste so bad is because of the gut glue that they add to it.

I know a couple old baws in their 40s or 50s who still shoot jager as their drink of choice. Never understood how anyone got drunk on that more than once.

They are absolutely different

Nothing would get me wilder and out of it back in college than someone breaking out the jager

What you describe is anecdotal evidence, which can’t be used to draw conclusions. We need scientific evidence to show that they have a different effect. My original point remains.

The different ingredients in the different drinks react differently.

Water content, sugar content, etc...

Right but those ingredients aren’t enough to make a difference. Of course glass of wine has more alc than one natty but I’m talking when you account for that difference

I don’t really think different drinks make that much of a difference. I do think different PEOPLE are each their own type of drunk.

Some are violent, some life of the party, some crying and emotional, etc. Thank goodness I’m not a type that’s hard to deal with.

Yes they are. Sugar makes a huge difference. Sugar is a drug and it has a very clear effect on us. Next time you drink a few nattys pour a cup of a sugar in each first and see if you feel different.

An article on the subject
quote:

In an essay published in the Conversation, an academic research-driven independent news website, Nicole Lee, professor at the National Drug Research Institute at Curtin University in Australia, counters an argument that’s been circulating after a recent study linked different types of alcoholic beverages with different mood states.
In her rebuttal, she posits, you may think tequila is the ticket to a wild night, or spirits make you more aggressive than beer, but that’s just it—it’s all in your head.

Wine is absorbed by the lower intestine as opposed to the other drinks you mentioned.

Perception is reality to the one who is doing the perceiving.

Yes different alcohol types affect me in different ways.
