Some people say wine drunk gets them feeling some kind of way

For others it’s tequilla that fricks them up completely

And with beer it’s another buzz, maybe more social

However, all alcohol is the same, ethanol, CH3CH2OH. So it must be a psychological difference cause there is no logical reason different drinks cause different drunks

Different drinks only cause different effects because you drink them in different contexts. Wine at a nice dinner. Bourbon at a tailgate, etc.

I get unreasonably mean whenever I drink Canadian whiskey. It never fails. No other alcohol affects me that way

I'm loud, friendly, and end up buying drinks for random strangers..... My 1800 bar tab at The Caterie is proof and I learned a lesson that night

I like and probably drink too much beer and I don’t want to socialize with anyone that isn’t at the house when I’m drinking.

It may be psychological to an extent.. when I was younger whiskey made me risk averse and more apt to fight and make trash decisions. Beer was melo and less violent. As I’ve aged, the end result is the same but beer just takes longer

I'm not a mean person, and my drinking doesn't affect my behavior. I might get quieter, but that's about it.

However, I've noticed gin makes me mad. I don't know why and I don't tend to drink gin.

No, pure ethanol is pure ethanol.

Bourbon is different from gin, which is different from port, which is different than absinthe, etc.

It’s all about the rest of the mix. So yes there are different drunks

Bourbon is a different drunk than beer for me. Now maybe I drink bourbon at the same rate as beer....but it's a different feeling.

It’s usually the same no matter what I drink:
I get a little buzzed and feel alright
Then I get sad, quiet, and withdrawn
Then I get dizzy and confused
Then I get really sleepy, but can’t sleep
