Apparently there is a new Native American tribe in Georgia

They actually aren't recognized by the state as an indigenous tribe

Chief Moon Hawk leads the Yamassee-Guale Nation of Georgia, an unrecognized indigenous group working for representation and state recognition.

The wiki of the Yamassee does say they were slave raiders

What’s crazy is there is no way for these people to be included in a tribe. Unless it’s different with other tribes. I’m 10 percent native and will never be recognized or accepted. Chitimacha. The natives do not recognize blacks or care.
