The siegen Lane bums are camping out back here. I've seen tents and several cars going in and out of there that are NOT related to the tanks/operations back there in otherwords I only see raggedy arse tinted out Kias cruising down that dirt road and back.
Probably their drug dealer.

as a former cop in that area, the Siegen Ln. bums are by far the highest population of homeless. Most are nice, some always strung out on drugs. Most dont want to be helped, they just want to continue getting drugs and alcohol.

Ehhh, I do the same thing with chicks. One day I’m a lawyer, next day I’m backpacking through the south, next day my fiancé just died. It’s all about perspective.

There were three yesterday working all points of the Bluebonnet/I-10 intersection. One on each side of the Eastbound Bluebonnet exit. Another standing in between the north and southbound lanes of Bluebonnet. And another sitting under the overpass median in the bullpen.

I don't know the cause, but I have lived in that area for nearly 9 years and the amount of bums has significantly increased over the last year or so

Yeah, but if you give him a bottle of water or a dollar he will say a sweet prayer for God to watch over you on your travels. That's why I sling him a snack when I can. Never pass up an opportunity for a prayer.

There is a group of homeless folks who sleep under the bridge on college and likely more as you get further down Dawson’s. Tents, chairs, you name it. I haven’t noticed it occurring more but yeah there are quite a few. I’m not worried about it tbh, it’s about to be 100° and they’ll move on.

Last week as I was leaving Coffee Call, I saw a couple of guys sleeping on a mattress near the small wooded area behind Office Depot, close to Balis Dr. That section of woods usually has signs of somebody living back there (grocery cart full of stuff, etc).

So the Christian thing to do is to give drunks, junkies and people who does it as a source of income (the people who dress like they are homeless, then goes back to their car, changes their clothes and then goes home) money instead of helping families, with children, in need?
