I do but my neighborhood FB page is more active and fun.

We have had cat trapping drama as well.

I am grateful to you guys for the idea.

My neighbors' cats come into my yard, get under my porch, and make noise before the crack of dawn, jumping around, trying to get into things.

What's a good cat trap go for these day?

Yesterday afternoon my wife was sitting in our back yard. A group of 6 or 7 teens were walking by on Old Government. Then one of them threw an orange at my wife and it struck her on the side of her head. Laughing and celebrating they started checking out both of our vehicles. So sad that this great area, been here over 10 years, has come to this state. Very saddening

Sounds like a typical Murphy High student.

Are they all fixed, at least?

Yep. Some won't let me get close to them/touch them, but they've been around 4 years and no kittens or going into heat or anything.

If people would just keep their pets contained within their yard there wouldn't be a problem. The pet owners are the antagonists in these cases. Yes, I understand it's not easy but I don't give a frick. It's real simple, your pet is your problem. Newsflash: Not everyone thinks your pet is as cute as you do.

Most people who feed outside cats are feeding the cats that were already there. I'd hardly call the cats I feed "my pets". The only outdoor cat we consider our own doesn't leave the carport/driveway. But even she showed up years ago -- we didn't go purchase a pet and put it outdoors.

Oh yeah. Ours ranges from homeowner issues (smoke detectors, landscaping, painting, etc) to speedbumps to neighborhood garage sales, to cat trapping (which one lady said she was gonna leave the FB page if the cat hate speech didn't stop...LOL).

Funny thing is...I read all the same in all the other neighborhoods on here as well in this thread. Absolutely hilarious.

When does all of this connectivity end?

This app sounds like a fricking nightmare.

Man what is it with cat trapping drama? We had some last year after some people started feeding strays. It escalated after some woman who lets her cat roam went missing. She went door to door knocking and accusing everyone of shooting her cat.

That one and the one where the lady thought she was narc-ing on someone dumping trash in a dumpster, only to find out that the person doing it was the owner of the dumpster.

That's the trap.
Bait with Tuna and the card board on bottom, so they don't get wire in their feet and spook.
Our animal control will empty the trap for you, so you have zero guilt. Animal control showing up and taking the cat out puts the neighbors on notice.
First time I baited with tuna, there was 8 cats in my yard just hanging around. Nobody took bait until night time.
