And by boring, I mean western Nebraska about 50 miles south of South Dakota. And by exceptional pay, I mean $250k +, (OT poor) to practice agricultural law. Asking for SabiDojo, thanks. I personally think he'll love it.

I’d live inside your mom’s a-hole for 250k a year

Like in valentine nebraska? It's not too bad up there...of course I've only been there for a couple days before... didn't live there. It's a good small town sort of life... would be great if raising kids.

I live in Baton Rouge... so yeah.

In my travels that part of the country is easily the most boring. Nothing to do out there what so ever.
Though if the money is right, why not? One can always travel.

I got paid pretty well to do some consulting work in Little Rock for 3 months.
That was pretty boring

Never have but I would consider it depending on the circumstances.
Being married with kids means I have little time for extraneous bullshite.
As long as I was able to keep the home supplied and figure out ways to keep everyone happy during the down times, it would be worth considering because it means paying off long term debt and saving for a better tomorrow.

Haven't checked lately but, there used to be a standing ad for nurse anesthetist in Western rural Kansas for $250k/year + furnished house. Town out in mid nowhere with nothing but crop fields and dust for a couple hundred miles every direction. Would make a sweet gig for like a newlywed couple. Nothing to do but work, make babies, save that cheddar, and move at the end of contract with a really nice nest egg.

Good money means you can fly out of there on weekends and go where you want.
While you're there, put yourself in the middle of as much social interaction as you can.
