Lol Saturday night I get to location to run liner. Find out next AM they have to fish to get some rotating head bolts. Won't be ready to run liner until Monday AM

Told the company man I live 2 hours away and I could leave my phone number...instead he made me sit on location for 24+ hours until they were back out of the hole

Take the chance. I wish more people would be risk takers and see what's out there to experience. You'll make a good living in the meantime. Boredom is just a lack of imagination.

Came close.

Went on an interview at a place in Connellsville, PA. They flew me into Pittsburgh. And even though they said the town was "outside of Pittsburgh" its really over an hour away. The rental car drive out there really made me conflicted. It's a shite town in the middle of nowhere.

I did the interview and eventually got the offer. But the money, while decent, wasn't good enough to uproot my life and live there.

I spent a year in Fayetteville, Ar for the pay. I made about 125k, which is great for a guy in his mid thirties without a degree. I'm glad I did it. But wouldn't do it again. The hours drive me crazy.

Now, I make a comfortable living, and work for a place that's grooming me to be a project manager and paying for a lot of expensive training. I'm also living around a ton of family. I'm happier than I've been in a long time.

If you do any kind of hunting then that would be a no brainer

Ha that’s one way to describe it. San Angelo really isn’t bad though relative to the area.

It’s funny though because most of the baws working in the field love to hunt and fish and many of the locations offer prime opportunities if you’re into it.

And by exceptional pay, I mean $250k +, (OT poor) to practice agricultural law

Let's not kid ourselves, if you practice agricultural law, you're probably not a fun person to begin with.

I’d personally love to make good money and live in the middle of nowhere.

I don't think you've ever been to this part of the US.

Way to judge, bitch.

yes.

As a single male, that would be plenty enough to just fly back to Louisiana to hang out on weekends.
