Did it burn initially? They recommend sleeping asap
Yes- eyes were on fire and pouring tears right after surgery. My doctor gave me a sleeping pill to take when I got home. I'll never forget waking up after the pill wore off- the TV was on, and I could see it clear as day, no glasses necessary.
Post surgery, drops seemed to go on FOREVER, but it was still worth it.
Also, they busted several veins in my eyes- I looked like I lost a fight for a few weeks. Mine was definitely worst case- I don't know anyone else that had it as bad as I did.

Good to hear that there is some level of regression. They offered insurance for unlimited adjustments at $400 but wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend that on a redundant item

Had it done in 2002. Was 30.
I've developed an astigmatism the last couple of years and am getting farsighted (they told me up front that this would happen)
But still would not change a thing.

I had it done in Dec. 2000. Best money I ever spent. Still have perfect vision today.

I tried it a couple times. Didn't quite have the settings right on my Temu laser. I'm looking for another vict....err....patient.

Lasik was one of the better decisions I've made. Had it done around this time in 2019, I'm almost 42 now and still see perfect. I was very near sighted before surgery, -5 in both eyes.

Had LASIK done a little more than a month ago in late 30s.
No regrets yet. I have so the starbursting and haloing especially at night but it doesn't come close to outweighing the pros.
As you said, the consensus is about 6 months for that to fade so if that goes as planned, absolute home run. Like many others, I should have done it sooner.

It is quite literally life changing. Best thing I ever did.

I had lasik on both eyes 24 years ago and it was, and still is, one of the best things I've done. I'm at the point now where I need readers which has nothing to do with my prior myopia but it's still worth it.

I had it done at 21 which was too young apparently . At 38 vision started getting bad again and now wearing glasses and can’t get it redone. Don’t regret it as it was awesome for 15+ years

I had bad vision and wore glasses most of my life being near sighted but had PRK done when I was in the Air Force back in 2004. It was the best thing I ever did. I’m still better than perfect vision but will probably need readers in about 10 years. I am almost 42 now. I do have some problems coming from bright lights to dark but it is worth it compared to glasses/contacts.

I had it done in 2002 at age 27. I am starting to need a little help 22 years later, but I think it is some of the best money I ever spent. I still can operate without glasses a majority of the time, but I do wish my arm was a tad longer enough to have recently gone to readers.

I did it once and won the Kentucky derby.

I had Lasik about 17 years ago and have never regretted it. Be sure to hydrate your eyes with drops several times before you have your eyes checked for the most accurate test.

Did it seven years ago at thirty.
Best decision ever.
Best decision ever.

I had it done about 4 years ago and my only issue is my left eye seems to be getting worse. I still don’t use contacts or glasses but if I close my right eye I can tell how off my left eye is. Still worth it. Even if I have to eventually do a “touch up” it will be worth it. It’s been so amazing not having to deal with contacts or glasses all this time.

My wife is getting lasik in two weeks, only one eye. She’s 20/20 on one side but -2.5 in the other, and hates her contact.
My vision is much worse, but have no problem with contacts and like wearing glasses from time to time. I’ve decided it’s time though, and plan on going for a consult and scheduling the procedure near term
