Having a message doesn’t mean that you are gonna have a good performance.

I get there was a message. The performance of that message was garbage. It’s not about the message being bad, the performance just sucked

I had an older black coworker tell a younger white coworker who was telling people "it made sense if you know about the beef" that "and we wonder why kids act the way they do".

The halftime show itself wasn’t anything special it was just generic mumble rap with hip hop choreography.

You don't have to personally enjoy it, but calling Kendrick mumble rap is unhinged. It'd be like someone calling Guns N Roses "death metal"

Pretty awesome by Lamar if you ask me from a frick you standpoint.
it sort of is, but is the Super Bowl really the place to do that?

Why isn’t Drake being investigated?

I didn’t watch the half time show, and I’m not sure I care enough to watch it on YouTube.

I have two and they are good people but it's pretty evident why they are low level employees.

Because I'm a cracker! This is proof positive why black folks continue to fall behind, choosing to idolize these fools and rely on them to speak on their behalf!

As opposed to all the rockers that are drug addicts and woman beaters that all you middle aged white dudes on this site slobber over?

Not only have I never had a conversation at work like this, I’ve never witnessed or heard about one. I think most of you are full of shite, but some of you are trashy and slack jawed enough that I think you actually bring this shite up at work

They won't, but they should

Are those really the only two options?

I understood the message, and honestly, I'm surprised he didn't edit anything last night. Happy that he didn't, nonetheless. I can listen to Kendrick Lamar although I can't understand half of what he's saying. I just don't think it was a good show.

I think a lot of people just think rap sucks. Of those who don’t think rap sucks, there are those that can’t understand a damn word of what he said. I am in the latter camp. I don’t dislike rap, I just like the stuff that I can actually make out the lyrics of.
