Yes. Mid-late 90s.
I don't think it's right for kids to be able to play a school-sponsored game called "smear the queer" but it's still crazy to think how much things have changed in just 20 years.

Yep. Sometimes we'd all plan together and attack the same guy no matter who had the ball, just so we could call him a queer when he inevitably asked WTF.

Personal favorite of mine
School teachers banned it for fear of somebody getting hurt, especially this one skinny kid who was always the queer... he never got hurt tho
Flash forward 2 yrs later, kid wasn't paying attention and walked into a pole and fractured his neck

It was one of our backyard games, while the intent wasn't malicious, I do think the name was bad in retrospect. Hell as I kidd certain nuts at christmas had an inappropriate name, there have been huge strides made unless you live in Ferguson or are a huge pussy SJW.
