Anyone else hates going to the doctor?

I wear contacts and they force me to go in annually for a check up. I can’t just renew my subscription.
I haven’t been to a real doctor since I broke my arm when I was 12. I’m 49 now and perfectly healthy.
Have a great smile but haven’t been to the dentist in over a decade.
Where is the OT at with this? Talk to me fam.

I order my contacts from Ireland or Canada. No proof of prescription required. Just have to know the strength needed and the curvature. Takes about two weeks to get through customs so I order a years worth every January.

InB4 I didn’t realize all the problems I had before I went to an American doctor and am now on 5 different prescriptions to keep me alive. Thanks to the doctors!!!!!!

You will start visiting the doctor more in your 60s. You won’t be in perfect health forever.

I agree with this. I also say you better get your colonoscopy and early cancer detection screenings done when it's time too before you wake up one day stage 4 because you didn't get a simple checkup.
I'm mid-40's with familiy history of a bunch of bad things. Just because I'm not on any daily prescription drugs doesn't mean I don't go once a year to get bloodwork done to make sure everything is still running as it should. It's like owning a car and never getting the oil changed or tires rotated. You're a fool if you don't get an annual checkup.

Normally if you have to get on prescription drugs you have to see a doctor annually in order to get refills for the next year.
