And when you take a bite and that tooth breaks/cracks don't be thinking a dentist is gonna " work you in" . Don't work that way.

Are you going to post about it when they find you with stage 4 cancer because you didn't do any screenings for the early stages?

You are going to tolerate chemo better than the average man?

That’s a good way to die. You should get your blood work every year especially as you age. You should get a physical every year and a colonoscopy after 45. I don’t like doctors either so that’s why I go for preventative healthcare.

This ^^^^^

I get a physical every year and just got a colonoscopy Tuesday and they removed two pre-cancerous polyps but if I never went that would have turned into cancer. I’ve been getting colonoscopies since I was 47. My brother in law has stage 4 colon cancer and it’s spread to his liver and sternum bone. He’s only 51 and ignored the symptoms for to long and now has had this shite for at least 4 years. Don’t be stupid. Get a yearly checkup. Or be stupid and don’t.

InB4 I didn’t realize all the problems I had before I went to an American doctor and am now on 5 different prescriptions to keep me alive. Thanks to the doctors!!!!!!

I’ve gotten a wellness checkup every year for the past few years. Insurance covers it 100%.

I feel good most of the time. My doctor confirms this and reviews my bloodwork. He has never tried to push a rx on me. Maybe stop going to shitty free clinic docs?

I like going to my PCP and ophthalmologist. They’re two of the kindest people you could ever meet. Since my insurance covers a yearly wellness visit, I don’t see any reason not to take advantage of it. If it weren’t for those visits, I never would have discovered that I had essential hypertension and high cholesterol. I’ve managed to get my blood pressure under control, but despite eating a very healthy diet, my cholesterol still requires a statin.

Also, years ago, my ophthalmologist discovered I had a detached retina. Without that diagnosis and treatment, I would likely be blind in my right eye today.

For me, especially being in my mid-60s, regular doctor visits are beneficial and well worth it.

If you are 49 years old and not having an annual lab panel and other important preventative screenings done like colonoscopies, you’re a fricking idiot

I'm 60, but not a puss like most of you.

I think many on here enjoy colonoscopies a little too much.

Funny story, but true…Americans life expectancy has only gone up maybe 2 years in the last three decades. Stop getting addicted to drugs and thinking it’s ok because an American doctor (pharma mark) prescribed them.

I’m not sure why getting an annual wellness exam makes you less of a person. I’ll continue to do so until God calls me home.

James Van Der Beek is the only thing you need to know about ignoring getting checked out once you hit 40.

Early detection is EVERYTHING, Dumbass.
