The Britons are awesome.

I’ve had five British bosses in my career and they were great. One from Liverpool and another from Surrey became good friends.

Hard to dislike those folks. Witty as hell on a day to day basis.

I find white people in New Orleans saying “ax” instead of “ask” super amusing however.

That goes WAY beyond NOLA. Just drive along By-yah Lafourche and stop at any town and you can "axe" a question they will understand.

I’ve always disliked how proper and formal they are with how they enunciate words. It gives off a sense of British elitism and classism. Definitely doesn’t help that most of them look down on the U.S. and our way of life. It’s a combination of things to be honest

I wonder why

I’m in the U.K. right now. I will say that an OT 6 is a U.K. 10, but the accent can certainly help. To answer the OP, I think it honestly depends on the region just like in the US. Some British accents suck and some are awesome.

Some can be and some are beautiful just like American accents.

A thousand years ago when I was young, I was traveling with my Aunt and Uncle... we were in deadlock on I-40 in TN and my aunt made me roll the car window down and ask the car next to us for grey poupon.

It was funny for a minute... but I quickly got embarrassed when that car was our stop-and-go traffic buddy for the next hour or so.
